Dr. Li Yi Li

Dr. Li Yi Li was born in China and grew up in New York City. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and Biochemistry with Honors. She then pursued optometry and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry Summa Cum Laude, with a Doctor of Optometry Degree. In addition to her internships in optometry school and various clinics in the U.S., she pursued further extensive ocular disorder treatment and management training and completed her Ocular Disease residency at the renowned Omni Eye Services and Surgery in New Jersey and New York, a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. Since 2002, Dr. Li has been practicing full scope optometry, with special interests in myopia control, specialty contact lenses and dry eye therapy. After practicing for 12 years in the United States, she moved to Vancouver 7 years ago to practice and now works closely with local family doctors and ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care in the UBC Wesbrook Village and East Vancouver areas. Dr. Li is a member of the BCAO and CAO and American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.
Dr. Li mainly practices in Vancouver but has maintained her licenses in NY and NJ and occasionally flies back to practice in the U.S. Aside from work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, arts and music, and explore the different food scenes in Vancouver. Dr. Li is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She provides comprehensive eye exams, therapeutic/medical exams, contact lens fitting, with a special interest in specialty contacts (toric, multifocal, keratoconus) and orthokeratology (Ortho-k lenses).
DR. VINCENT WU
Born & raised in Toronto, Dr. Wu attended the University of Toronto, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. During his time at the university, he was exposed to a wide range of scientific disciplines, and he honed his skills in anatomy, physiology, and optics. This foundation in science would later prove invaluable as he pursued his career as an optometrist.
Dr. Wu enrolled at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science and during his studies there, he gained hands-on experience in the latest technologies and techniques in eye care. He also travelled to various externship sites at Oklahoma Jack Montgomery VA medical centre and Hong Kong Polytechnic University to further diversify his training.
After graduation, Dr. Wu moved to Vancouver to practice optometry, providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages. He has a passion for helping his patients maintain their vision and improve their eye health, and he is constantly seeking new ways to provide the best care possible. He has seen countless patients who have benefited from his care and guidance, and it brings him great joy to know that he has made a difference in their lives.
